This family photograph was taken in Athens on UGA's North Campus, near the famous arches. The University of Georgia is well known for the beautifully gardened and maintained campus, and the Northern side of it nearer to Historic Downtown Athens GA is the prettiest spot. In the fall, families from all over town come here to get their family photos done. Since there are so many people getting photos done in casual wear, why not do something unique and different with your family wardrobe this time? I do have a Family Portraits - Family pictures outfit ideas page, but this family wanted something a bit more upscale and fancy.
For this posh family, I had them all dress up in black-tie event outfits. The little girls navy and silver luster dresses were rented from Anna Triant (https://annatriant.rentals/). Mom's dress was one she had, but she dressed it up with a jeweled sash belt, and the father of this family already had his dark charcoal grey suit and only had to find a navy tie that would work. I posed them all near a tree that was just beginning to change colors for autumn. Orange being opposite the color wheel from blue, it made the perfect color contrast to this portrait. Their glamorous Christmas cards for the year were the envy of all of their mailing list! Glitzy indeed!
