This one I love because dance photography is still a new journey for me. So while I've been able to see kids grow up in my other portrait work, this has been the first time I've been able to see someone's actual skill level change in photos. I did a ballet photo session for her in the very beginning, and then a year later, and I can actually see her getting better in the photos! That's amazing to me. This is a visual representation of all of her hard work and pain, and here she is rocking it.
Artistically, I love the round windows and how they complement that teardrop shape her back leg makes with her torso and head.
