Christmas Tree Photo Sessions are some of the most special and magical photographs you can have made of your children. That Christmas Eve tree magic feeling with the lights all aglow, that special time of the year when holiday cheer is at its highest. Make a tradition of holiday tree photography with these mini sessions.
This trio of siblings was photographed in their home's living room. I used the Sigma 20mm 1.4 art lens here because I wanted to show the whole tree. Showing how small these kids still are in comparison with their huge tree helps make it more magical to me. The boxes and bags under the tree hide the trunk, while the extra lights added make this a super bright glow on the children’s faces. The kids' red and white holiday striped pajamas add to the photo by making them match the tree's colors but not be too busy and overwhelmed by the pattern.
This photo won the 2019 Sigma Corporation Holiday Contest. https://blog.sigmaphoto.com/2019/sigma-holiday-season-photo-contest/, which you can see on instagram on the Sigma account at https://www.instagram.com/p/B6OM61GBWQ2/ and my own response on the Fairyography instagram at https://www.instagram.com/p/B6beIcOFi1E/
