I think one of the reasons why I love dance photography is that it is so weightless. When I ride in a car, I look out the window and imagine flying. 95% of my dreams when I sleep are flying dreams. I close my eyes when the wind blows and I always imagine that I can soar. If I stretch out my hands, I can feel the wind through my fingertips as if I had feathers instead. To me, ballet is as close the human body can get to flight without extra means. It's a realm of dreams and freedom from the tyranny of gravity.1/1000; f/1.4; ISO 100; 105.0 mm.
