A long time ago, there were three fairy sisters. Each of them was a unique beauty. They wore long white dresses that draped to their feet and flew on powerful translucent wings that shimmered in the sun. They spent their days in their enchanted forest swinging on a swing that lay right in the middle. It was indeed the best place to be, for here on this swing they would come across several magnificent creatures, including the glorious unicorns. Speaking with the unicorns was always a delight. Their stories were always filled with endless adventures. Although the fairies loved hearing all of their tales, their favorite was about giant sleeping trees and waterfalls full of wishes. Often times they would close their eyes and dream of these places, hoping one day to go to them. Then suddenly one day, the eldest of the fairies decided she would wait no longer, and as two unicorns approached she asked them “Could you take us to the great beyond? To the places you have been? For we long to see the sleeping trees and the waterfall of wishes.” “Oh, we certainly can” replied the unicorns. “But you must promise one thing. No matter how beautiful the great beyond may seem, you must eventually return home.” The fairies agreed. After all, how hard could that be? They mounted on the backs of the unicorns, and their hearts began to race. What wonders would await them once they reached the great beyond?
