My fiance’ will tell you that I’m obsessive about my DVD’s, especially if they come with behind the scenes footage or commentary. For a new DVD that I love, I will often watch the movie itself, then rewatch the whole thing with the commentary on immediately afterwards. I just love knowing what was going on or what the thought process is for something. It makes me feel like I’ve been let on in a big inside party or secret.
I love it in the photography world too. I love it when my favorite photographers post pullbacks to show how they did something or answer reader questions or show their studio setups. The tiny bit of grass in Lisa Holloway’s photo, or her garage studio, or even Britt Woodall laying in the dirt. I know how I do things, but seeing the way other people do things is amazing.
I almost fell off of this log getting this shot, and it’s not the first time. One these days I’m going to really destroy something one my way down from something.
Fixing hair. This is done a lot. Fortunately, I have mutant long arms.
Oh yes, that would be me dancing. Goodness, she’s FIVE and doesn’t even make it up to my waist.
And this one is us flying to our next location!
After nearly falling off of a log the first time, we decided that having mom stay RIGHT THERE was best. Safety first!
This is how just about every one of my fairytale sessions ends.. me carrying Little Miss back to the car because her poor feet are sore. Hot, sweaty, tired, but I still love carting princesses!
